FALL IS HERE! And there's no better place to go to than the mountains this time of year! I headed to Asheville to see the largest privately owned house in the United States, the Biltmore Estate. This French chateau is beyond gorgeous and has amazing views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. I was born and raised here in NC and I can't believe I had never been! Whether you're in the NC area or want to come visit, it's definitely worth it!

BILTMORE GARDENS
Fall flowers and more! I loved the gardens because they had a mix of everything. We visited on Halloween and the leaves were still colorful in Asheville. "Peak week" is in late October, probably closer to October 24-27.
I'd love to go back in the Spring just to see how beautiful the gardens must be.
WHAT I WORE:
I went for a monochrome look with all olive green, Inspired by Emily in Paris, I bought a beret (Parisian hat) at H&M and figured it would be appropriate at this French chateau. My mom let me borrow her platform combat boots, which I love, even though it was a heck of a workout walking in them all day. The boots made the outfit less girly and more edgy to me. Combat boots are the trend this season. Also, I added black hose since the weather was in the 50s that day. Pictured towards the end you'll see the black, leather jacket I wore when it got colder out. Don't forget to layer up since NC weather can go from hot to cold and vice versa within a few hours!
Shirt: H&M

I'm so glad we went this time of year. The inside of the house is already decorated for Christmas so it's like 2-for-1 because you get the fall vibes and a taste of Christmas too. Looking forward to coming up with something for a Christmas blog post. If you have any seasonal ideas, shoot me a DM! Until then, take care and see you guys again soon! :)
