DATE NIGHT OUTFIT: WHAT I WORE ON V-DAY

Updated: Mar 6, 2019

I hope you all had a great Valentine's Day and/or Galentine's Day! Here's my take on a Valentine's Day look that would also be great for a night out with your girls or a date night anytime this year...

OUTFIT DETAILS:

Dress: Shein

This dress was only $8 on Shein.com! I bought it back in December, but the price has now changed to $10, which is still a steal. I absolutely loved it because of the back details. I don't normally like wearing red, so I went with burgundy for V-Day instead. This look would be great for any date night! I wore it with a black blazer/jacket since it was kind of cold that day (took it off to show the back details). Shein currently has this dress in white, black, and burgundy!

Heels: Fashion Nova

Love these heels. I'm not a huge 'shoe person,' but I feel like it's always good to have a couple of different-looking black heels. These stood out to me, and they're pretty comfortable since the heel is really thick.

Handbag: Rebecca Minkoff

I decided to wear all-black accessories so that the main focus would be on the dress. I also like the sleek look of this handbag.

Date location:

RuRu's Tacos + Tequila, Charlotte, NC

LOVE this place. It's usually not too crowded, and the building used to be a home designed like an Italian villa. It's like a little piece of Italy in North Carolina. I ordered tacos and a shrimp quesadilla (highly recommended). This location is also pretty popular for engagement shoots and more. It's definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Charlotte.

I especially love this look because you can wear it any day of the year.

It's cute, practical, and different.
