My first stop on the Mediterranean cruise was Rome, Italy. Rome is my absolute favorite city. I went to Rome for the first time in 2010 and fell in love. I think I like it so much because of its rich history, unique architecture, and amazing food. Plus, the locals are very nice and don't mind helping you with directions, even if they can't speak English (or Spanish). Here's my take on a tour of Italy, part one.
Our first stop on day 2 was the Colosseum. We were pretty lucky because it was supposed to rain the whole day. We took pictures at the Colosseum and not too long after it started POURING. We got soaked, so my favorite pictures were the ones taken pre-flood.
WHAT I WORE
Matching top and skirt set: Choies.com. Tip: If you plan on buying anything from Choies, keep in mind that the store is based in China, so the shipping takes about a month. I barely received my package, a few days before we left for the trip.
Heels: Steve Madden (@ TJ Maxx) - I've had these nude heels for a few years and they go with everything. Traveling tip: always take a pair of comfortable shoes with you for walking!
Sunglasses and handbag: Dior and Gucci.
