SWISS ESCAPE

Updated: Feb 7, 2019

My trip to Zurich, Switzerland last month did NOT disappoint! This was a day after my trip to Munich and it was my second layover on the way to Dubai. I spent the night in Zurich, but I only had a couple of hours of free time the next day. I stayed at a hotel by the airport, which is on the outskirts of the city. The metro ticket to the city center was only 7 euros roundtrip if I remember correctly. I really only had an hour to explore the city center, but I made sure to visit Grössmunster church (pictured below).

What I wore:

Coat: Shein

This coat was under $30 on Shein's website! I really liked it because it's bold, so I thought it'd be perfect for Europe.

Shirt: TJ Maxx

So, I didn't plan on wearing this outfit. At the airport, I had to repack my carry on bag since my big suitcase was going to be sent straight to Dubai. I wore this shirt in my previous post, too. I just made sure to pick a neutral shirt.

Scarf: Club Room

I stole Justin's scarf because I wanted to add a pop of color and I wanted to cover my gray shirt a little bit, too.

Leggings: TJ Maxx

Boots: Material Girl

Very comfy boots!

Handbag: Chanel

Fall in Switzerland - absolutely in love!

Lake Zurich is gorgeous, especially because of the swans. The first time I came to Zurich I fell in love with this lake. I spent about 2 days in Zurich on that trip, so I was able to do a lot more. I went on a water taxi ride, which I highly recommend. I also went to the Lindt chocolate factory (because, you know, Swiss chocolate). The city is very tranquil and romantic. I think anyone would love it! I'd love to go back to Switzerland in the winter and explore the Alps. Maybe next time!
